Three people have received multiple injuries after a crash in the Aoraki/Mt Cook area.
Emergency services have attended a crash on State Highway 80 and say that one person sustained serious injuries.
The person with serious injuries has been airlifted to Dunedin Hospital and two others with moderate injuries are being flown to hospitals in Timaru and Christchurch.
Two ambulances and three rescue helicopters were called in.
