Three injured in Napier house fire

Three people were injured in a Napier house fire this morning.

Fire services were called to the blaze on Wharerangi Road in Tamatea at 5.25am, central fire communications shift manager Mike Wanoa said.

The house was well alight and three occupants were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and burns.

Fire safety officers were still at the scene examining the cause, he said.
