Three face jail charge

Two men and a woman have been remanded in custody accused of breaking into a prison.

Matthew Joseph Exeter, 18, Waata Robert Chapman, 19, and Christina Evans, 20, appeared in the Christchurch District Court.

Exeter and Chapman are also accused of communicating with an inmate, named as Kevin Green.

In October, a teenager named Kevin Green was found guilty of murdering a homeless man in Christchurch.
