Three people were due in court in Hamilton today after a man visiting the town of Thames yesterday was stabbed in the back and one arm with a knife.
The man and two youths were due to appear in Hamilton Youth Court following what police described as an unprovoked attack.
The victim was treated at Thames Hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening.
Thames police said they were called about 4pm after a report of an assault on a male visitor to the town.
