Three people are in a serious condition after being cut from a car which crashed near Rotorua last night.
Fire Service northern communications spokesperson Nicole Bernard said crews were called to the single-vehicle crash, on Waipa Mill Bypass Rd, Whakarewareware, by ambulance staff about 10.30pm.
Three people were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be cut free by firefighters.
The trio were taken by ambulance to hospital in a serious condition, Ms Bernard said.
