Three car crash closes Canterbury road

A three car crash has closed a road on the Banks Peninsula, in Canterbury.

Police said Dyers Pass Road on the Governor's Bay side was expected to be closed until about 9am.

Motorists have been advised to take the alternative route through Lyttleton until the road reopens.
