Three arrested after police chase

Three people have been arrested following a police chase which stretched from Wellington to north of Paekakariki.

The pursuit began before four this morning after police received reports of a vehicle ramming two parked cars in Karori.

Sergeant Maggie Windle said road spikes were used to stop the vehicle at McKays Crossing.

She said the driver of the vehicle is facing a raft of driving-related charges, including failing to stop and dangerous driving.
