KEY POINTS:
Three 14-year-olds will appear in Tauranga Youth Court tomorrow on assault charges after an attack on a 39-year-old parasailor today.
Mount Manganui acting Senior Sergeant Craig Madden said police received a report that a number of people were assaulting a parasailor on the summit of Mauao (the Mount) about 12.20pm .
Police went to help the parasailer and he was later transported to Tauranga Hospital with suspected nose and cheek fractures.
Mr Madden said a number of people witnessed the assault and three eastern Bay of Plenty youths would appear in court tomorrow.
