Two flights from Auckland Airport bound for Christchurch were temporarily put on hold last night after threats were made against them.
Auckland Airport spokesman Richard Llewellyn said two flights were grounded as a precaution.
Senior Sergeant Matt Rogers said the man who made the threat was in Christchurch and they knew his address.
"I have no doubt that in time we'll be knocking on his door and talking to him."
