Silo Park has a prominent place in Auckland's history, with much of the cement used to build the city having been created in the silos. The park is now home to basketball courts, a playground, regular food truck gatherings, music festivals, art installations, an open air cinema, and even a Christmas tree forest in December, and is the perfect spot to spend a few hours outdoors.
