KEY POINTS:
Police have named a third victim of a two-car collision that also left an elderly man and a 12-year-old girl dead before Christmas in Waikato.
He was 43-year-old Christopher Sprigings, who died last Thursday.
Anthony Thorogood, 73, died at the scene of the crash and Amy Courtney Sprigings, of Katikati, died in Waikato Hospital on Christmas Eve.
The accident occurred on State Highway 2 at Ngatea southwest of Thames on December 22.
