There has been another stabbing after two fatal attacks during the weekend.
A woman is in a serious condition in Wellington Hospital after being stabbed in Wainuiomata, Lower Hutt, just after two o'clock this morning. Her alleged attacker was involved in a 10 minute police chase before he was apprehended.
In the weekend's other incidents, Fitzgerald Risati died of stab wounds after he was attacked while waiting for a taxi outside the Cannons Creek shops in Porirua, Wellington, early on Saturday morning.
At around the same time Daryl Graydon died from multiple stab wounds after a fight on Ridge Rd in the Manukau suburb of Howick.
