KEY POINTS:
A third man will today be charged with the murder of a gang associate whose body was found in Whakarewarewa Forest near Rotorua last month, and police are still seeking a fourth person.
Hemi Hohepa's body was found on October 20 by two walkers.
Police believe the 27-year-old had Mongrel Mob connections. He died from a single stab wound.
Two Rotorua men, aged 20 and 19, appeared in Rotorua District Court this week, accused of Mr Hohepa's murder.
A 28-year-old man was originally charged with conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm to Mr Hohepa but when he appears in Hamilton District Court today he will now face a murder charge, Detective Senior Sergeant Kim Libby said.
Police were still looking for a 16-year-old in relation to the murder.
Mr Libby said the teen was recently in Maraenui in Napier and anyone who helped him to avoid arrest faced being charged themselves.
Anyone with information was asked to contact Rotorua police.
