A third man has appeared in court in connection with the torching of Coromandel town police station in the early hours of Good Friday.
The Coromandel man, aged 25, appeared in Hamilton District Court on Saturday facing a charge of arson.
A 32-year-old Coromandel man and a 21-year-old appeared in court last week facing the same charge.
Coromandel Peninsula Senior Sergeant Graham Shields earlier said the attack was retaliation by members of the criminal fraternity in Coromandel town.
Damage to the station was limited to exterior cladding, some floor joists and wiring. Police operations were not affected.
