Another Labour MP is experiencing health problems.
Harry Duynhoven, the member for New Plymouth, has been admitted to his local hospital after experiencing chest pains.
Government whip Darren Hughes said Mr Duynhoven was in a comfortable condition and would be kept under observation for the next few days.
In recent weeks, Christchurch Central MP Tim Barnett was admitted to hospital with appendicitis and then pneumonia, and Rimutaka MP Paul Swain was admitted with pneumonia.
Mr Hughes said Mr Duynhoven had come back from a recent trip to Doha in Qatar with a bad case of flu that he had not been able to shake and had complained of having a sore chest.
He was admitted to hospital yesterday afternoon as a precautionary measure while tests were carried out.
