A New Zealand woman has scored her third consecutive win in a cheese rolling race in Gloucester, England.
Aucklander Dione Carter, 26, won the women's race after chasing a wheel-shaped double gloucester cheese down Cooper's Hill, a steep 200m slope.
The contest is held each year on Spring Bank Holiday Monday and attracts dozens of hopefuls, only some of whom escape without injury.
About 25 people were hurt during the five races yesterday, and two were taken to hospital.
The annual cheese roll attracts competitors from New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Sweden and the United States.
