Easter egg thieves have left a sour taste in the mouths of members of a disabled sporting club.
The Northland Boccia Association's Easter Tournament at Kensington Stadium was marred when two Easter egg gift packs meant for club members were stolen.
"They were meant for two young people who have spent their entire lives in wheelchairs.
"I was pretty hacked off," Northland Boccia Association secretary Karen Connolly said. "We hope they (the thieves) enjoyed them."
