Waipuna Hospice has been attacked by thieves who ransacked the charity's Tauranga depot, making off with donated items and the hospice's signwritten van.
Police were at the Brook St depot near Fraser Cove this morning investigating the break in, which is believed to have happened between Saturday afternoon and 8am this morning.
The hospice appealed on Facebook this morning for any sightings of the van, which is believed to have been loaded up with stolen gear before being driven off over the weekend.
The white 2007 Ford Transit Van has a registration of DUY554. It had been parked inside.
