Thief still on the run

Police are searching for a professional thief who once burgled John Key's Parnell mansion.

John Anthony Clark is on the run and police are warning homeowners to be vigilant.

Clark has more than 170 convictions and was jailed in July 2009 for five years and three months but was paroled 12 months later as he had spent two years in jail before his guilty plea. He has breached terms of his early release.
