Cheap-as-chips retro clothing is for sale at the former Lamberts Cycle shop in Lincoln Rd, Masterton.
Prices range from $100 for a fur coat to 50 cents for a piece from the shop's bargain bin.
The sale began in late February and has been organised by a co-director of American Jazz Dance Affiliation and a director for the Masterton Amateur Theatrical Society (MATS) Sharon Stevens-Cottle. It finishes today at 12.30pm with everything, except fur coats and kilts, for $1 or less.
The clothing has come from the MATS theatre wardrobe, which has been redesigned, and includes fancy dress, day dresses, wedding dresses, fur coats, shoes and more. "It was just packed in storage. Lots hadn't seen the light of day for years," Mrs Stevens-Cottle said.
Some of the money made will go towards buying "even more" costumes.
