A Kiwi cop whose slick dance moves went viral and sparked an international revival of the 'running man' once abandoned his relationship with his teenage girlfriend after learning she was pregnant with his child.
Sergeant Sonny Iosefo starred in a South Auckland police running man video challenge that has been liked more than 150,000 times on Facebook and has been responded to by emergency services around the world.
But the rhythmic law enforcer has admitted that when his wife Fetaui was just a teenager she fell pregnant with their son Josh and Mr Iosefo abandoned the relationship.
"I was a coward. I was a young guy who didn't want to take responsibility for my actions. I was scared, I was too worried about myself," he told Fairfax.
