KEY POINTS:
The Herald is asking high-profile people about their environmental friendliness.
This week: Warriors captain Steve Price
What are you doing personally to make a difference?
We bought cloth bags so when we go shopping we don't use plastic bags. That's a help and, coming from Australia, we're also really conscious about conserving water. You won't find much water being wasted in our house.
What more could you do?
There are a lot of things I could do. I suppose one would be to ride to the club on a bike instead of driving the car. Maybe making sure that things are turned off to save a bit of power would help too. We could cut back on using the heater but then we'd freeze. I suppose I could eat organic foods more as they use less pesticides.
What is your biggest environmental sin?
Using detergents. I'm still guilty of that.
Global warming - true of false?
That's true. You only have to look at the way average temperatures have gone up and how much weather patterns have changed over the years.
What kind of car do you drive ?
My sponsor's (four-litre) Ford Territory.
