How do you think you went?
I think it was pretty good because I managed to answer all the questions. But during the listening comprehension, the voice on the tape was really slow, so it was hard to remember what they had said. I wish they had read it faster.
What mark do you give the exam paper: Not achieved, achieved, merit or excellence? Why?
I would give it a merit. The listening part was really slow, the reading part was really good and used all the Level 3 vocabulary, and the writing part had a really wide variety.
What was the oddest question in the exam?
They were all pretty fine. Nothing really struck me as odd.
What was the hardest question? Why?
The hardest question was choosing a writing question to write on because you can never be prepared because this year it was on completely random topics. They talked about things like the Rugby World Cup, they talked about writing about a random famous person, writing a review, so it's really random.
Will you study the subject next year?
I'm studying architecture next year so I can't study it at university, but I will study it outside uni.
What is your top study tip?
Learn the raw material, learn vocabulary, learn quotes, just learn the raw material.
