Wedding bells? Nope
Speculation had been rife that Sally Ridge married her partner Warren Fenning at the weekend - but the pair have apparently not tied the knot.
The Summer Diary reported today on speculation of a wedding, following a gathering of the pair's blended families at Sally's mother's Tauranga lodge and a tweet by Sally's daughter Jaime:
However, it is understood the tweet is not in relation to any nuptials, and that the gathering at Willowdene Lodge was a family get-together.
And it was a full family affair, with Warren's entire clan joining holiday festivities, including his children Jordan and Finn, mum Dawn, sister Wendy and brother Karl.
Ridge's four children are in Tauranga also, with her two youngest, Astin and McLane Parore, snapped enjoying the holiday with Fenning's two kids in a classic convertible owned by Willowdene Lodge.
Warren split from his wife Carita, the mother of his two children, nearly three years ago. Their acrimonious divorce was finalised last month and the pair share custody. He lives with Ridge at her bungalow in Herne Bay.
Sally's first marriage to former league star Matthew Ridge ended in 2001.
The couple have two children, Jaime and Boston. Matthew could not be reached for comment.
Sally's seven-year relationship with ex-Black Cap Adam Parore ended bitterly and the couple have been embroiled in court battles, with Parore's company trying to bankrupt Ridge after she failed to pay more than $100,000 in court-ordered costs.
Parore told Summer Diary he knew nothing of a wedding, "but then I wouldn't be holding out for an invitation", he laughed.
Neither Fenning nor Ridge returned calls yesterday.

The New Zealand Herald Boxing Day races at Ellerslie on Friday proved a glamorous event with expat Kiwi Eric Watson making a rare appearance with his partner, Lisa Henrekson, the mother of his three youngest sons.
The globe-trotting pair, who call London and New York home, are enjoying a Kiwi summer at their Karaka home, seeing in Christmas and the New Year.
Watson, who is sporting more grey hair follicles these days, is preparing, too, for the high-profile visit of German supermodel Heidi Klum, 41, who is the face and creative director of Bendon's newest celebrity licensed line, Heidi Klum Intimates, which launches worldwide in January. Watson is chairman and majority shareholder of Bendon.
His beloved rugby league franchise, the Warriors, will compete at the NRL Auckland Nines at Eden Park on January 31-February 1, and Watson is expected to be cheering from his corporate box.
Also at the races were Bridgette O'Sullivan and her It-girl daughters Caitlin and Georgia, restaurateur Judith Tabron, former league star Monty Betham, and TV star Suzanne Paul and her husband Duncan Wilson.
