'The Amazing Race' comes to Rotorua

Rotorua will become a televised battleground when teams in the American reality series The Amazing Race clash in the city this weekend.

The show is hosted by former New Zealand television presenter Phil Keoghan.

After weeks of intensive competition, four teams will battle it out on the Rotorua leg of the challenge. At the conclusion of the episode, one team will be eliminated and the other three will go to the Philippines for the next round.
