There was no rest in Te Aroha this morning, with the east Waikato town being shaken by an earthquake for the fourth time in a day.
The latest earthquake, measuring 3.1 in the Richter scale and centred within 5km of Te Aroha and just 6km underground, struck at 6.32am today.
Earlier this morning, at 1.22am, a 3.3-magnitude quake hit at the same spot.
It followed magnitude 3 and 3.1 earthquakes at 6.41pm and 2.48pm yesterday.
Police in Waikato reported no problems from the earthquakes.
