The Housing NZ tenants accused of terrorising their neighbours on an Auckland suburban street are to apply for a rehearing of their Tenancy Tribunal hearing at the Auckland District Court today.
The tribunal last week ordered the Owairaka family to vacate the house on Range View Rd before midnight on Friday. The family's lawyer, John Foliaki, told the Herald last night that the process had been rushed through. His client, a mother of nine boys and one girl, was too ill to attend last week's hearing.
