Ten people have been rushed to hospital after being exposed to chlorine gas at a chicken factory in Canterbury.
Emergency services were called to Brinks Chicken in Rolleston just before 10am.
A spokesman for southern ambulance said ten people are suffering respiratory discomfort, but their injuries were not life threatening.
An investigation has been launched into where the gas leaked from.
