Telecom has done it, now TelstraClear is looking at moving its call centre to the Philippines.
TelstraClear says it is conducting a feasibility study on some of its inbound contact centres.
If the company moves that part of the business to Manila, around 120 jobs are expected to be on the line.
Head of customer services Maggie Robertson says no decision has been made and staff have been informed. She says the feasibility study is expected to be completed in early March.
