Television recall

Loewe and AHB television sets from 1999-2001 pose a potential fire risk and are being recalled.

Consumer.org.nz advises anyone who owns one to unplug it and not use it, because the television may have a weakness at soldered joints which could lead it to overheat and catch fire.

Consumers should record the article and serial numbers on the back of the television and contact Loewe on 0508 456 393 or check Loewe's website to see if their television is part of the recall.

Free repairs or a trade-in offer are available for a limited time.
