A new television game show will replace TeleBingo, which is to be scrapped because of dwindling profits.
Lotteries Commission chief executive Ariane Burgess said the show, called Risk, would make its TV One debut on July 25 during prime time as a combined game show and lottery, like TeleBingo.
But unlike TeleBingo, Risk had the potential to jackpot and would have more money up for grabs, probably around $100,000.
Ms Burgess said TeleBingo sales had almost halved since the show began in July 1996. With new faces and a greater element of chance, the commission hoped Risk would also appeal to older viewers.
