Three teenagers have been committed for trial at the High Court in Hamilton for the murder of a 74-year-old Wellington man.
Donald Stewart was found dead with head injuries near a public toilet in the central city on June 27 last year. His Peugeot car was later found at an Auckland wrecker's yard.
William Frederick Izett, 18, and two boys, aged 16 and 15, with name suppression, were jointly charged with murdering Mr Stewart.
Two of the three appeared briefly in the High Court today and were remanded in custody until their trial in August.
