Two teenagers are being hunted by police in connection to a "traumatic" robbery of a wheelchair-bound Christchurch woman.
The youngsters were caught on CCTV around the time the woman was robbed on a footpath next to a hedge outside the Henry's shop on Harewood Rd at Bishopdale Mall on Saturday.
Police say the teenagers are "persons of interest" and have appealed for anyone who knows them to come forward. "This is a traumatic incident targeting a vulnerable victim," said acting inspector Ash Tabb.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or recognises the two teenagers in the CCTV image."
Police urge the teenagers, or anyone who knows who they are, to phone police on 03 363 7400 and selecting option 5.
