Teens rescued from dinghy off Glendowie

Three people have been rescued at an east Auckland beach.

The teenagers got into trouble in a dinghy off Glendowie Beach. They were picked up by a yacht then transferred to a Coastguard vessel just before eleven o'clock this morning.

A Coastguard spokeswoman says they were taken back to the rescue centre and are now on their way home.
