Two teenagers are in hospital, one with suspected spinal injuries and another injured, after a quad bike crash early yesterday.
It was understood three young people had been on the quad bike and had been attending a nearby party.
Eketahuna chief fire officer Max Mayer said the three teenagers crashed into a ditch at about 2.15am on Pukehoi Rd, a gravel road near Hukanui, 9km north of Eketahuna.
A rescue helicopter took a young man, who was suspected to have sustained spinal injuries in the crash, to Palmerston North Hospital.
A young woman was injured and was taken by ambulance.
