Two teenage boys have been seriously burnt in west Auckland after an incident involving a gas canister.
Ambulance officers found them at the Westgate shopping centre at Massey at 2.30 this afternoon.
The boys are believed to be aged 14 and 17.
They have been admitted to Middlemore Hospital, where the national burns unit is located.
Police are investigating to try to establish what happened.
