KEY POINTS:
Two Hamilton teenagers are nursing wounds after an apparent drive-by shooting in the suburb of Frankton at the weekend.
The 15-year-olds were walking home from a party along King St just after 1.30am on Saturday when the occupants of a cream-coloured four-wheel-drive allegedly fired at them, The Waikato Times reported.
One of the boys suffered a superficial wound to his elbow while the other was shot in the back of the thigh, with the projectile making a hole through the pocket in his jeans.
It was not known what sort of weapon was used.
The pair flagged down a motorist who dropped them home.
One of the projectiles which missed the pair hit a window of Segno Safety Industries, creating a crack the window's length.
A police spokesperson confirmed at least one man had been arrested in relation to a shooting incident in the city about 12.30am that morning and police were investigating if the incidents were linked.
