Two trains were forced to abandon stopping at a South Auckland train station after a group of youths kicked the doors and threw stones.
Spokesman Wally Thomas said about were caught on CCTV footage causing chaos at Takanini Train Station.
"A group of youths obviously with nothing better to do who were picked up and dealt with quickly with police," said Auckland Transport spokesman Wally Thomas.
"It's vandalism and at worst, extremely dangerous and also frightening for passengers at the train station."
Police and an Auckland Transport security team security team were sent out to deal with the disorder.
