One of the two teens accused of viciously assaulting a man in Havelock North last month has pleaded guilty and both can can now be named.
Falcon Kaine Walsh, 18, pleaded guiltily to injuring with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in the Hastings District Court today.
Walsh's alleged co-attacker, Jacob Patrick Broderick, 17, pleaded not guilty to the same charge.
They stood in the dock together while their name suppression lapsed.
The charges relate to the alleged unprovoked bashing of a 32-year-old Hastings electrician along Te Aute Rd, in the heart of Havelock North during the early hours of August 3 this year.
