The two 18-year-old Taupo males would faces charges of intentional damage in Taupo District Court on Friday, Senior Sergeant Tony Jeurissen of Taupo Police said today.
Police were looking for a third 18-year-old male who would be charged along with the other teenagers, but expected to speak to him within the next 24 hours, he said in a statement.
Letterboxes, bricks and concrete slabs were hurled through windows at the Taupo Baptist Church, St Andrew's Anglican Church, St Paul's church and the Church at 109 in an early morning attack on July 2.
