A teenager who was hit by a car on her way to school on Thursday morning is in a stable condition at Starship Hospital.
The Mt Albert Grammar School pupil was hit when she was crossing Taylors Rd , near the St Lukes Rd intersection, about 8am Thursday.
An Auckland District Health Board spokeswoman said the teenager has improved over the weekend, after being rushed to the hospital in a serious condition.
Mt Albert Grammar School principal Dale Burden said the school was in daily contact with the student's family.
