Teenager dies on road near Rakaia

Save A driver stopped and called emergency services after hitting a teenager in Canterbury late yesterday.
Police said Danny Mather Hendriks, 18, from Rakaia, died at the scene after being hit on Acton Rd, Rakaia, about 11pm.
The driver of the car stopped and phoned emergency services but Danny died at
the scene.
The serious crash unit is investigating.
