KEY POINTS:
A teenage girl has died in Waikato Hospital following a serious crash on the Morrinsville-Tahuna Road.
The 15-year-old was believed to have been in the back seat of a car when it crashed into a van just after 6pm on Saturday night.
A Waikato Hospital spokesperson confirmed the girl passed away in the intensive care unit overnight.
Three other teenage passengers in the car sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Police were still investigating the accident.
