Teenager dies 72 days after being hit by car

A teenage girl has died 72 days after being hit by a car in Nelson.

Natasha Graham, 19, had been unconscious in hospital since being knocked down on Weka Street in March. She died on Saturday afternoon.

Police said crash investigators were still looking into the incident and there was no word yet on whether the driver would face charges.
