A Hastings teenager who allegedly held up a dairy at gunpoint last week has been arrested.
The 17-year-old boy allegedly demanded money from a female shopkeeper at gun point at the dairy on Karamu Road last Tuesday, police said.
He was arrested this morning and charged with assault with intent to rob.
He is due to appear in Hastings District Court on Tuesday.
