A teenager arrested for allegedly stabbing two people in Christchurch at the weekend has been released on bail.
Carlos Joel Shadbolt, 18, appeared at Christchurch District Court on charges of grievous bodily harm and possessing a knife in a public space.
Judge Stephen O'Driscoll said the charges Shadbolt faces are serious.
He granted him bail until April 18 but under a series of conditions including a curfew, no consumption of alcohol and to stay away from a certain address.
