Teenage girl hospitalised after alleged rape

A teenage girl had to be hospitalised after allegedly being raped in West Auckland in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A 23-year-old man has been charged with sexual violation by rape in connection with the incident. He is due to appear in the Waitakere District Court today.
