Police investigating an assault on a 15-year-old girl in Rotorua over the weekend say the attack may have been sexually motivated.
The attack on the girl occurred at the Bay of Plenty town's Kuirau Park about 7.40pm on Sunday.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, in particular the occupants of a blue van who were believed to have been using the foot pools in the park, and the occupants of a green long-wheel-base vehicle with a spare tyre attached to the boot.
Police are also interested in a Caucasian man in his 40s wearing a grey beanie and glasses.
