KEY POINTS:
A 14-year-old boy charged with the murder of a 22-year-old Tokoroa man has been further remanded in custody to a youth justice facility.
The boy, who cannot be named because of his age, appeared in the Rotorua Youth Court yesterday to seek bail.
He was ordered to remain in custody until February 19 to allow time for his lawyer to gather information for the bail application.
The judge suppressed details of the hearing.
