Police are waiting to speak to 17-year-old West Auckland girl before deciding if she will be charged for the alleged abduction of her nephew during Sunday night.
Kauri Chapman, 2, was found safe about 11am yesterday.
Anyone with information on Richelle Samuels, who left Kauri with family in Mt Wellington yesterday, is asked to call Henderson police on [09] 839 0600.
